Record

AudioPC-CR provides a simple, but flexible solution for computer based digital recording and playback of courtroom proceedings. The courtroom recorder solution can be readily scaled from notebook-based solutions for mobile courts to high volume courts, local hearings and lengthy jury trials. AudioPC-CR provides audio and CCTV recording for storage, playback and transcription as required. In close co-operation with the relevant authorities, special design consideration has been given to resilience and security with various levels of system redundancy, secure algorithms to guarantee data integrity, administration of user access rights and audit trails to give a tamperproof record of access. AudioPC-CR’s software architecture and user interface have been designed in conjunction with the courtroom authorities to ensure both the legal admissibility of the recordings and ease of operational use. The recorded data can be stored locally on fault tolerant RAID solutions and/or stored centrally on network-attached storage (NAS) devices or any logical drive such as a USB external disk. Alternatively, at the end of the day’s proceedings, selected data can be copied to a local CD or DVD drive in native or industry standard formats such as .WAV or .MPEG4. AudioSoft’s mission-critical heartbeat health monitoring technology alarming and built-in test facilities allow AudioPC to be left unmanned with alarms delivered automatically to the designated supervisor/maintenance personnel.

Analyse

AudioSoft’s unique transcription tool, AudioWord, speeds up transcription by allowing audio transcribers with conventional foot pedals to control playback of recorded data within Microsoft Word. Alternatively, our Medirva product provides workflow management of transcription resource and automated speaker-independent transcription with optional contextual search, thereby greatly enhancing the efficiency of the transcription process. Visualise

To ensure it is possible to verify who was speaking, AudioSoft’s Player replays all recorded content including speech with lip synchronised video together with the court reporter’s annotations.
