Digital ATC Recording Solution for Carrasco International Airport (MVD), Uruguay

AudioSoft have been selected by DINACIA* to supply a fully integrated digital recording solution for Carrasco International Airport (MVD). Consisting of over 100 discrete recording channels, the new system will synchronously record voice, radar data via serial and network interfaces, and at-the-glass display recording.

Working in conjunction with Telefax S. A. based in Montevideo, AudioSoft will provide installation and integration support, together with full on site training. This contract award follows three successful AudioSoft deployments at ADAMI Airport, SALTO Airport and RIVERA Airport in Uruguay, further extending AudioSoft’s presence in the Latin America region.

The new recording system will be based on our own AudioPC v6, which has been specially designed to support the needs of ATC. Offering many unique and user friendly features such as synchronised channel replay, our ATC recording solutions are based on standard PC hardware providing real cost benefits over a products complete lifecycle.
