AudioPC-CR is a state of the art audio and/or video recorder that provides a legally admissible record of what was said and by whom within a Court Room.

AudioPC-CR records high quality audio data and optional high resolution video data from specifically selected microphones and cameras to a hard disk and optionally archives the data to a network server or DVD drives. All recordings are time and date stamped for evidential purposes and the recording methodology follows Home Office guidelines for generation and control of legally admissible digital recordings. By installing AudioPC-CR in each Court and networking them back to a central storage area a complete and secure record of all proceedings can be easily made.

Security is provided through password access while an audit trail provides a record of user actions. Recordings can either be replayed at the recorder or alternatively on a separate Windows based PC. Sophisticated database searches ensure recordings are easily and quickly located. The recorded video and audio data is replayed with ‘lip synchronisation’ and can be marked and selectively copied for presentation in any DVD player. The Legal Wizard provides a user friendly mechanism to enable the Court Taker to enter relevant information and maintain a chronological record of the hearing to assist the Court Reporter to create a meaningful transcript. Our recorders are based upon PC equipment providing low cost of ownership combined with ease of maintenance and support.

Sophisticated Transcription

AudioSoft offer both manual transcription through AudioWord and speaker-independent automated transcription through Medirva™ to greatly enhance the efficiency of the transcription process. Through our open industry architecture we are able to support integration with third party Courtroom systems, Workflow Management and Scheduling systems to greatly improve the overall efficiency of the Courtroom process.
