Q. Are your recorders connected trunk side or extension/hand set side to telephone systems?
A. AudioSoft Recorders can be connected to either side however a more robust, tamper free and cost effective solution is to use trunk side recording with full CTI integration in most cases.
Q. What telephone systems can you connect AudioSoft Recorders to?

Q. Can your recorders deal with simultaneous inputs of data and voice?
A. Voice, Fax, Radio and Radar can all be simultaneously recorded and identified on our Recorders
Q. Can AudioSoft recorders integrate with our own legacy or in house databases systems?
A. Using AudioSoft's ActiveX/API it is possible to integrate many Windows based systems to AudioSoft Recorders.
Q. How can you guarantee timing accuracy or synchronisation of AudioSoft Recorders?
A. Utilising AudioSoft's SmartClock software our recorders can synchronise to an accuracy of +/- 100 milliseconds from known time sources such as GPS, MSF, DCF or IRIGB.
Q. Can you offer a transcription package to work with your recordings?
A. Our AudioWord software provides audio typists with the facility to transcribe directly into Microsoft Word documents.
Q. Are your recording legally admissible as evidence?
A. Utilising proven 128 bit encryption techniques our recording are tamperproof and as a result are admissible as evidence in matters of law.
Q. Can you send recordings via e-mail as attachments?
A. AudioSoft recordings can be converted to a .wav format whilst preserving the original file format for security purposes.
Q. Can you restrict access to certain channels of recording, add recording channels or delete recordings from the recording server?
A. This function can only be achieved with secure administrator login privileges. Utilising our SmartAdministrator or SmartAudit packages access right and audit trails of activity can be provided.
Q. Is it possible to ensure integrity of continual recording from an AudioSoft Recorder and any associated communication channels?
A. SmartAlarm provides notification of different levels of alarm states to central monitoring stations, e-mail addresses and SMS text messaging services. When used in conjunction with SmartMonitor and SmartDiagnostics a complete suite of diagnostics tools are available.
Q. Can I securely access an AudioSoft recorder over the internet for remote playback?
A. Our SmartStreaming product allows up to four channels of recordings to be accessed securely over both the Internet, LAN and WAN making it particularly suitable for multi site and outsourced applications.
Q. What training do you offer to customers?
A. AudioSoft provides on site, in house, practical hands on training as well as distributed CBT Computer Based Training.
Q. Do you sub contract support services?
A. All support engineers are employed by AudioSoft and have undergone rigorous training in service and diagnosis of AudioSoft products. All call outs are attended by engineers in easily identified liveried vehicles.
